Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks is pulling out of Manchester Co-op Live following last-minute announcement

Stevie Nicks has been forced to postpone a much-anticipated performance at Manchester’s Co-Op Live after suffering an injury.

Hours before they were due to play Glasgow’s Hydro Arena tonight (July 6), the venue broke the news to fans that the gig had to be postponed. The venue revealed that the famous rock singer had to undergo minor surgery for a “leg injury”, therefore he needed some time off.




This unexpected turn of events also means her upcoming show in Manchester on Tuesday 9 July will have to be rearranged. In March, the Fleetwood Mac star excited fans by announcing her live show in Glasgow for this summer season.

At the age of 75, the American superstar has carved out an impressive solo career following his illustrious time with the band. Her last appearance at the Hydro was in 2015, where she performed alongside her bandmates during the On With The Show tour.

Just last week, Stevie hit the headlines when she made an appearance at the Dublin stop of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Swift, who has often expressed how Stevie has had a profound influence on her music, paid tribute to her with a dedicated song during her performance, the Daily Record reports.

The ‘Stand Back’ singer will also take center stage at BST Hyde Park later this year in London. A statement posted on X said: “Due to a recent leg injury requiring minor surgery which will require several days of recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled shows in Glasgow on Saturday 6th July and Manchester on Tuesday 9th July have been postponed”.

“Further information will be available at the point of purchase, ticket holders are advised to hold on to their tickets as rescheduled dates will be announced shortly. Stevie is looking forward to seeing everyone at Hyde Park in London.”
