Royal Enfield has launched a new version of the Himalayan. This is called Himalayan Sleet. The bike costs INR 2,12,666 (on road, Chennai). This new bike will have a new color and model which are in shades of grey. RE says he was inspired by the mountains. The Himalayan is a touring bike and to make it more attractive, the first 500 Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet bikes will come pre-equipped with the Explorer Kit.. This kit is an assortment of original Royal Enfield motorcycle accessories that help make it ready for adventure. The launch price also includes the Explorer kit.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Explorer Kit comes with aluminum fairings, luggage mounting rails, aluminum handlebar with crossbar and large engine guard. The bike comes with a 2-year warranty. The bike can be reserved online, which is only available for the first 500 bikes. Starting January 12th^th until January 30^th, enthusiasts can go online and register, thereby expressing their interest in purchasing. The sale will go live on January 30^th2018, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Commenting on the launch of Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet and Explorer Kit, Mr. Rudratej (Rudy) Singh, President, Royal Enfield said, “The new Himalayan Sleet is inspired by the terrain of Royal Enfield’s spiritual home – the Himalayas, its rocky land. , keys, equippable keys all gathered in the colors of the sleet. The Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Explorer kit will include the following original RE accessories.

• 2 x 26 liter waterproof aluminum bags,
• Off-road style aluminum handlebar with crossbar for added strength,

• Powder coated engine guards.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Gray is suitable for long rides and is comfortable too. It boasts long-travel suspension, a natural upright riding position, dual-purpose tires combined with nimble handling and a durable engine.
