Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood wants to sort out his future next week.

Sources say Greenwood is getting impatient with the uncertainty of where he will play in the new season.

The 22-year-old England capped international is understood to be cool with the idea of a move to Marseille and still favors a permanent move to Spain, where he spent his last spell on loan with Getafe.

Valencia have already submitted a £25m bid for Greenwood, who United value at around £40m, while Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are closely monitoring developments. Italian giants Juventus and Lazio are also credited with a strong interest in the United Academy graduate.

Greenwood is desperate to sort out his future, having already started his own personal pre-season training.

He was put to work on a £100-an-hour plastic pitch in Manchester, working alongside Shola Shoretire – himself looking to leave United in his quest for regular first-team football this season.

Greenwood spent his last term on loan in Spain with Getafe and chairman Angel Torres would love to have him back in the Spanish capital.

He said Radio Marca in May: “If it’s up to the boy and the parents, he’ll go on for another year. Manchester, the news we’ve had since last week, the thing is if there’s a good offer he’d like to sell. Because he’s not coming back there.
