The new bike for the year gets some major updates. To start with there is an all-new console. Now with the new console, the basic problems like the fuel indication and gear position indication might get solved. In addition to that, the Royal Enfield has changed the switchgear buttons. The buttons that are offered for the kill switch are combined with the ignition button. The passing light switch is also changed. These buttons are totally new and have never been seen on any other bike. Another change that took place was a major one but went unnoticed. To make the engine BS6 the layout of the chain has been changed along with it. The chain has been shifted to the left and the rear brake to the right.

The reason for this is the new 6-speed gearbox. There will be a drastic change in riding behavior as well as highway cruising. The bike will give a better fuel economy due to this extra gear on the highway.
