Liverpool announce Arroyo’s exit

Liverpool have announced the sale of forgotten defender Anderson Arroyo, without ever playing a game for the club. The Colombian arrived in 2018 from Fortaleza CEIF

But he has since been sent out on a series of loan spells and returns to Burgos after spending last season with the Spanish club.

A statement from the Reds said: “Anderson Arroyo has completed a permanent transfer from Liverpool to Burgos CF, subject to international clearance. The Colombian leaves the Reds six and a half years after arriving from Fortaleza CEIF in his native country.
