Image shows gallons of water flooding Nuneaton’s main road amid major Severn Trent problem

Gallons of water flooded a main road in Nuneaton amid a major supply problem on the Severn Trent. He was spotted spilling on Coton Road earlier this morning (July 7).

A Severn Trent van was seen nearby as water overflowed the main route out of the town center towards Coton Arches. It happens when large parts of the city have been affected by a major loss of supply.




Severn Trent has confirmed it has engineers in town trying to fix the problem which has hit everywhere from Weddington to Arbury. Some reported having no water at all.

Other households have a “slow” flow of water from their taps. The water company said it is trying to fix the problem as soon as possible.

On its website, it apologized to customers in the CV10 and CV11 areas of the city. There is no suggested time yet when the issue will be fixed.
