Mason Greenwood spotted training in Manchester with former team-mate

Mason Greenwood was spotted training in Manchester with former Manchester United teammate Shola Shoretire.

After completing his loan spell at Getafe, Greenwood returned to the UK to prepare for the new season.

Several clubs have shown interest in signing Greenwood – such as Lazio and Marseille – but a deal has yet to materialise. The 22-year-old was cleared of charges which included attempted rape, coercive behavior and assault occasioning actual bodily harm by the CPS last February.

While fellow United pariah Jadon Sancho is expected to feature at Carrington on Monday, it remains to be seen whether Greenwood will be told to stay away entirely.

However, Greenwood has been seen maintaining his fitness with fellow academy product Shoretire, who left United this summer at the end of his contract.

Greenwood was wearing a Jamaican national team jersey.
