Royal Enfield Bobber 350; What we know so far

The “bobber” design is slowly becoming popular with the arrival of the Jawa Perak and the 42 Bobber. And following suit, Royal Enfield is all set to launch its first bobber, based on the Classic 350. Recently, the design patent of the bike was leaked online and from the looks of it, the Bobber 350 will be similar to the Classic 350, barring some minor tweaks. style.

Introducing the Royal Enfield Classic Bobber

The Bobber 350 will remove the passenger seat unless it is chosen as an option. The pilot’s perch will be a floating seat, and the rear subframe is different from the one on the Classic 350, with the wing mounted on the swingarm. The bike will also get monkey-style handlebars, which will ensure a comfortable and upright position. The other styling change will be the whitewall tyres, which will only be offered on the Bobber 350.

The Bobber 350 will share several similarities with the Classic 350, such as an identical wheelbase and fuel tank. Both models will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 20.2PS at 6,100rpm along with 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension, brake setup, wheels and instrument console are also expected to be shared with Royal Enfield’s other 350cc models. The bike will also get dual-channel ABS.

We expect the Bobber 350 to be launched sometime in September/October 2024 and is likely to be positioned between the Classic and Meteor 350 and its prices could start from around Rs. 1.9 lakh in Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
