A big name chain looking to replace Pitcher and Piano in Sheffield

A big name chain is aiming to replace the former Pitcher and Piano bar in Sheffield city centre.

Holly Street-based Pitcher and Piano closed in April. Sheffield City Council has received an application to open a cozy club on the premises.

Cozy Club has branches all over the country. A spokesman for Loungers, which oversees the Cozy Club, said: “We have been in discussions about opening a Cozy Club on the Pitcher & Piano site in Holly Street, Sheffield.

“If successful, the site would open sometime this summer. We already operate Cozy Clubs in York and Leeds and are looking forward to opening a third location in Yorkshire.

“If everything falls into place, we look forward to welcoming the Pitcher and Piano team members from Sheffield to the Loungers family.”

We’ll bring you more news about the new opening in Sheffield when we have more details.
