EXCLUSIVE: First photo of Royal Enfield’s production-ready electric motorcycle revealed!

– New Royal Enfield electric motorcycle ready for launch

– I will get a big battery

– May be released in early 2026

Royal Enfield has finally unveiled its first production electric motorcycle. This electric bike will probably make its official debut by the end of 2025, with a possible launch in 2026.

From this patent image, it’s clear that the company has stuck to its modern retro appeal. The overall styling is new, but some design lines have been borrowed from the Classic range. The front profile of this electric Royal Enfield is quite interesting. The bike is seen with beam forks – these forks have been seen on bikes since the 1920s. With this type of front suspension, it is clear that the company is experimenting with its first electric motorcycle. The rear section – especially the mudguard, seat and indicators – is classically inspired.

In terms of performance, it is clear that there is a large battery placed between the chassis, which also has an interesting design. The swingarm looks like it’s made of aluminum and has a traditional design. There are no details on the electric motor yet, but expect it to be a bit powerful. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a belt drive.

There is currently no information on the name of this bike, but internally it is called the electrik01. There is a good chance that the company will go back to its roots and use a brand that was sold decades ago. Royal Enfield has used this approach for its latest launches like the Super Meteor.
