A new store offering “tasty desserts” at “reasonable prices” is opening in Coventry.

A new dessert parlor has opened in Coventry, offering “plenty of dessert delights” on their menu. Dessert Planet on Stoney Stanton Road in Foleshill has been described as a ‘must visit’ for ‘sweet lovers’.

Dessert Planet offers a variety of sweet dishes from waffles, crepes, cookie doughs, cakes, sundaes, gelato, pancakes, donuts and brownies. They also offer hot and cold drinks, mocktails and a children’s menu.




The store aims to serve “the highest standard of food” and maintain “excellent taste and quality”. Bosses say Dessert Planet is where they “always keep it sweet”, where customers can either book a table in advance, order online, or Just Eats and Deliveroo.

Take a look at some of the desserts on offer at Dessert Planet:

  • Boujee Bueno Waffle – Bueno Gelato, white chocolate sauce, hazelnut chocolate sauce, white chocolate shavings, Bueno pieces, served with soft vanilla. £6.50.
  • Crazy for chocolate waffles – Milk chocolate sauce, white chocolate sauce, grated chocolate, served with soft vanilla. £5.50.
  • Strawberry flavored crepe – Strawberry gelato, white chocolate sauce, fresh strawberries, served with soft vanilla. £5.99.
  • Dark Night Cookie Dough – Double chocolate base, milk chocolate sauce, white chocolate shavings, served with soft vanilla. £5.50.
  • Bubble Gum Bliss Sundae – Bubblegum Gelato, Soft Vanilla, Bubblegum Sauce, Strawberry Sauce, Sprinkles, Served with Soft Vanilla. £6.99.
  • America’s beloved Biscoff pancakes – £5.99.
  • Oreo Blizzard Brownie – £4.99.

Despite being open for less than a year, many customers praised Dessert Planet for offering “great waffles” at “affordable prices.” The restaurant has a 4.8 star rating on Google reviews.

Zoro L said: “My family and I visited Dessert Planet for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The Karak chai was amazing and the prices of desserts and hot drinks were surprisingly reasonable considering the high quality. The ice cream was exceptional. , and the cookie dough was some of the best I’ve had in a while.”

Irfan Panjwani said, “It was my second visit and it was totally worth it. The desserts were well made, reasonably priced compared to other more expensive French desserts in town, the shop owner, Mr. Hanif, is very friendly and helpful and always gave us a warm welcome.”
