Despite the uproar from some fans regarding a Mikey Lewis tackle that saw a Catalans forward land awkwardly, the Hull KR playmaker has not been banned meaning the Robins will be at full strength for their clash against Hull FC.

Sadly, the same can’t be said for both Wigan and Saints with the game set to miss some star power after bans were handed down to hooker Brad O’Neill and half-back / hooker Moses Mbye. Both men have been handed a one-match ban by the RFL’s Match Review Panel following incidents on Friday night.

Brad O’Neill was sin-binned on Friday night so it is perhaps less of a surprise for him and Wigan Warriors that he’s been banned for the game this coming Friday, however, the Moses Mbye tackle seemed to go without incident.

He’s been charged with dangerous contact and was handed a Grade B charge, whereas England hooker O’Neill also copped a Grade B charge but for a ‘Dangerous Throw/Lift’ in the ‘Battle of the Borough’.
