Boy seriously injured airlifted to hospital after colliding with car

A seriously injured boy had to be airlifted to hospital following a car collision. Warwickshire Police said 999 calls were made to Shipston Road in Stratford-upon-Avon.

.They reported a collision between a red Ford and a boy. The boy, who has not been identified, suffered what was described as a “serious” leg injury.




He had to be airlifted to hospital for treatment. Investigations into the July 4 collision are ongoing.

Now, police are asking for help from the public, especially anyone in the area. “If you saw the collision take place, particularly if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us,” a Warwickshire Police spokesman said.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 225 of July 4. Details can also be passed through the police website here or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
