Met Office on when the rain will finally stop in Coventry as ‘heat dome’ looms

More heavy rain is on its way for Coventry over the next 48 hours, according to the Met Office. But we could finally get a break in the wet weather as we head into the weekend.

And weather maps have forecast that a ‘heat dome’ is set to bring warmer temperatures next week. Early predictions are that it will be the warmest between July 15-17.




But, short term, locals across Coventry and Warwickshire will need their rain macs and brollies. Today will see more ‘unsettled weather’ with the risk of ‘heavy showers’.

There is a risk of showers tomorrow (July 10) too but then, according to the latest local online forecast, the weather is set to start getting drier and slightly warmer.

The weekend could see some showers but the forecast predicts it will be ‘feeling pleasant in brighter spells’ at the weekend. The latest local forecast is as follows:
