Richard Osman reveals his wife Ingrid has joined The Thursday Murder Club

Thursday Murder Club has become a family affair as Richard Osman has confirmed that his wife Ingrid Oliver has joined the cast.

On the latest episode of The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Osman announced the final casting for the film, which is currently filming in the UK.

His wife Ingrid plays Joyce’s daughter Joanna, though Osman confirmed that “it wasn’t my idea, I have to say, but (writer/director) Chris Columbus’s idea.” She joined alongside Richard E Grant and Sarah Niles.

Grant plays a “bad guy” while Niles plays Patrice, who fans of the books will know as Donna’s mother and eventual partner to his boss, Chris. As previously announced, Naomi Ackie plays Donna in the film.
