AK&M 09 July 2024 14:31

Brent crude futures for September 2024 on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) on July 9 at 12:59 MSK were at $85.37 a barrel ($-0.38, -0.44%).

Brent crude oil futures are traded on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which was founded in 2000 for electronic trading in energy markets and to ensure greater price transparency.

A Brent crude oil futures contract is a supply contract based on the supply of EFP (futures exchange for a physical commodity) with a cash settlement option. The minimum contract is accepted for 1000 barrels. Trading is conducted in US dollars in any volume multiples of 1 thousand barrels. ICE Clear Europe acts as a central counterparty to transactions carried out on the London stock exchanges. This enables it to guarantee the financial performance of each contract, right through to delivery, execution and/or settlement.
