CACI ‘lifer’ Greg Bradford to step down after 40 years

CACI ‘lifer’ Greg Bradford to step down after 40 yearsCACI President and CEO Greg Bradford is retiring from the business after 40 years leading the US-owned data company’s European operation.

The company was founded in 1962 in Washington, DC as a data and customer profiling specialist and launched its London office in 1984, handing over the leadership role to Bradford, who transferred from the States.

Bradford built the firm from a small, growing branch into a business that now ranks as one of the UK’s leading data and software services companies, specializing in business intelligence, marketing and analytics services, cyber security, data management, digital forensics and digital transformation

However, CACI has kept a low profile in the media in recent years compared to its main rivals, which include the likes of Experian, Acxiom, TransUnion and Equifax, mainly because of its work to help both intelligence services in the Great Britain as well as the USA. His client portfolio remains confidential.

Bradford, who is 70, will be succeeded by Tracy Weir, who has been with CACI for 26 years, initially as senior vice president of the integrated marketing group and then as managing director from January 2020. Prior to that, she worked to marketing service provider CDMS and Mars Confectionery.

She will take up the role of chairman and chief executive on October 1, 2024, and the company said it will work with Bradford over the coming months to ensure a “smooth transition”.
