Morrisons is announcing a change affecting in-store and online shoppers this summer

Morrisons has announced a new travel money service for shoppers. Morrisons Travel Money offers the widest range of currencies compared to other supermarkets, including euros, US and Australian dollars, Turkish lira, yen, dirham, rupiah and Thai baht

Coin can be ordered from Morrisonstravelmoney.com for Click and Collect, Home Delivery or bought in store. Customers can opt to have it sent directly to their homes or arrange to Click and Collect it from over 50 Morrisons Travel Money kiosks in stores across the country. Alternatively, the currency can be collected from one of Eurochange’s 240 branches.

Jamie Winter, purchasing director, popular and useful services and energy at Morrisons, said: “Morrisons Travel Money with Eurochange will give our customers easy access to a wide range of currencies at competitive exchange rates.

“Whether they’re heading to Europe, the US or further afield, our customers can now lock in their fares by ordering online and then collect their travel money, along with sunscreen and holiday essentials, in our stores.”

Charles Stewart, Managing Director at Eurochange, said: “As well as increasing our reach and presence in key locations across the UK, this collaboration will make it easier than ever for people to get travel money and make the most of their time in abroad.

“Now Morrisons customers will be able to pick up their foreign currency while doing their weekly shop, either online or in store, with competitive rates and a wider range of currencies than any other supermarket.” Morrisons Travel Money kiosks are currently in 50 stores across the UK, including Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, St Helen’s, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Nottingham, London, Basingstoke and Hastings.

You can view an exchange rate as a price, showing you how much of one currency you can get for another currency. For example, an exchange rate can tell you how many euros you can get for £1000.
