Sky warns customers ‘return box in 60 days’ or risk ‘charge’

Sky has urged Sky Q customers to ‘return’ their boxes as it launches an exciting Flash Sale which gives them all the benefits for just £43 a month. Sky has a number of offers available for Q customers to take advantage of and has warned customers they face a “non-return fee”.

The new Sky deals include Sky Stream with Sky TV, Netflix, Sport Cinema and Sky Kids for £43, down from £73. It includes Sky Sports (all 9 channels), Sky Cinema, Sky Kids, Sky Entertainment and Netflix on a 4-month contract, while the Sky Stream bundle with Sky TV, Netflix and Sky Sports is £43, down from £52.




It includes Sky Sports (includes all 9 channels), Sky Entertainment and Netflix, 4K and is a 24 month rolling contract. Sky Stream with Sky TV and Sky Cinema is now £32, down £10 from £42, and includes 4K alongside Sky Cinema, Sky Entertainment, Paramount+ and Netflix.

But Sky warns: “You can only have one Sky TV subscription at your address, so if you already have Sky Q or Sky+ , you’ll need to get a new TV subscription and choose a new TV package for Streaming TV. We will invoice you. for your existing Sky TV subscription until your Streaming TV subscription is activated.”

Sky continues: “Billing for your Streaming TV subscription will start when you activate your Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream Puck. If you have Sky Q, you will need to send back your Sky Q boxes within 60 days of the grace period ending. or you may incur a non-return fee.”

It says: “Any third party subscriptions that you don’t pay for through Sky but watch on your current Sky platform will not be viewed on Sky Glass or Sky Stream Puck. Any recordings you have on Sky Q or Sky+ will not transfer to Sky Glass. or Sky Stream Puck Sky Store Buy and Keep purchases will still be accessible via the Sky Store app.
