Police trying to ID suspect in Sunday shooting in east Birmingham

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a Sunday shooting in Birmingham.

The shooting happened before 7 pm in the 6800 block of First Avenue North, at or near the Sunoco gas station.

The male victim was shot multiple times. He was taken to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
