Thousands pour into CBS Arena as Sean Paul returns to Coventry

Crowds poured into the CBS Arena when Sean Paul took the stage last night (Tuesday, July 9). It marked six years since the Grammy Award-winning star performed in Coventry.

Sean performed some of the biggest hits from his glittering 30-year career and also declared his ‘love’ for Coventry. He entertained his legion of fans with chart-topping songs including To breathe, Temperature, and Little boy.

Thousands of people danced their way through the night, which was a homecoming for the Jamaican-born star, who has strong links with Coventry and Warwickshire. His grandmother hails from the town and the 51-year-old also has extended family in Rugby.

Fans were also treated to a live DJ set, with a special appearance from Married at First Sight star Terence Edwards. He was joined by M Dot R and Stevo.

Revelers could be seen singing and dancing as they partied at the CBS Arena last night (July 9). Managing director Paul Michael hailed the evening as “incredible”.
