An Enfield man wanted in connection with a triple murder in Hertfordshire has been found following an extensive manhunt.

Kyle Clifford, 26, was found in the Enfield area by police officers this afternoon (Wednesday 10). He receives medical attention, being found with injuries. The police did not fire any shots.

The victims of the attack at a property in Bushey, near Watford, were three women aged 61, 28 and 25. They were named by the BBC as the family of racing commentator John Hunt.

The search for Clifford lasted almost 24 hours and reportedly culminated at Lavender Hill Cemetery, near Hilly Fields Park, at around 5.30pm.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “This continues to be an incredibly difficult time for the family of the victims and we would ask that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what has happened happened

“This investigation is moving at a pace and official identification of the victims has yet to take place. The premature naming of potential victims caused great distress to the family when they should have been given space to reconcile
loss.

“Following extensive enquiries, the suspect has been located and no one else is wanted in connection with the investigation at this time.

“We have had an overwhelming number of calls and would like to express our gratitude to members of the public who have contacted us. We are further appealing for anyone with information or footage to contact the police directly and refrain from commenting on social media as this could affect the progress of the case.

“We have set up an information portal where people can submit any information, photographs or video footage they feel could help us in our investigation.

“This incident will, of course, concern local residents. Other local officers will be in the area today so please speak to them if necessary.”
