A man shouted at two schoolchildren before exposing himself.

Police received a report that two teenagers were being followed by a man as they walked on the footbridge over Watkinson Way, heading towards Page Lane in Widnes. This took place on Wednesday 8 May between 19:00 and 19:30.

The man called them before exposing himself, a Cheshire Police spokesman said. The boys alerted a man on a bicycle who chased the suspect.
