The man comes out of the Wetherspoon and sees Jack Black taking a walk

Hollywood superstar Jack Black posed for selfies with stunned fans who were left shocked after seeing the A-lister strolling through the UK city centre. Mathew Evans, 21, says he is leaving a Wetherspoon pub in Leeds. when he saw the School of Rock star walking down the street.

The American actor played the city’s First Direct Arena on Saturday 11 May as part of rock duo Tenacious D on ‘The Spicy Meatball Tour’. Mathew, an electrician, said Jack was more than happy to have photos of him and his friend but “didn’t want the attention” from anyone else.

He said: “I came out of Wetherspoon with my partner and saw someone with a shiny top, we thought it was weird so we gave him a double look. Then we looked at him again, looked at each other and realized it was him.

“I didn’t know he was on tour but I heard his American accent and knew it was him so I asked him for a picture. I told him I like his movies and to keep it that way and he said “thanks bro. and he kept walking because he didn’t want attention, I don’t think anyone came near him when I saw him.
