Suspected crossbow killer Kyle Clifford’s brother Bushey sentenced to life in teen’s slaying

The brother of the man accused of killing three women is serving a life sentence for killing a teenager, it has emerged.

Kyle Clifford, 26, was found by police last night after a huge manhunt for the alleged triple murder at a house in Bushey, Hertfordshire, The Mirror reports. The victims have now been identified as Carol Hunt, 61, Hannah Hunt, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25, the wife and daughters of BBC Five Live racing commentator John Hunt.

Clifford was found in the Enfield area of ​​north London and is receiving treatment for his injuries, Hertfordshire Police said. Police previously said they believed it was a “targeted incident” and urged members of the public not to approach Clifford if they saw him.

Kyle Clifford is believed to be the ex-boyfriend of victim Louise Hunt. The BBC reported that Kyle Clifford left the British Army after a short period of service in 2022. The Ministry of Defense confirmed on Wednesday that he served briefly in the Armed Forces.

A Whitehall source said: “He has not served very long and is no longer a serving member of the armed forces.

“We won’t speculate on what regiment or unit he was in, but look at his age. It didn’t serve much”.

It also emerged that his brother Bradley Clifford is currently serving a life sentence for killing a moped driver. Bradley, from Enfield, chased them and collided with Soban Khan, 18, and Jahshua Francis, 19, in his Ford Mustang after they hit his car with a bottle, heard Old Bailey in 2018.

Both victims were thrown into the air by the impact. Bradley Clifford then kicked Mr Khan’s moped as he lay on the ground. Mr Khan later died and an autopsy gave the cause of his death as multiple injuries.

During the trial, the jury was told that Bradley Clifford “went into a rage” when the window of his Mustang EcoBoost was smashed, setting off a “fast, brutal and unrelenting” chase through the streets of Enfield, north London.

Jahshua Francis, 19, was found injured near the scene. He was rushed to hospital by ambulance and recovered from his injuries.

Bradley Clifford was found guilty of murder and attempted GBH with intent. He was jailed for life with a minimum sentence of 23 years for Mr Khan’s murder and seven years for the attack on Mr Francis.
