An organisation, backed by housing association giant A2Dominion, which helps to empower and inspire young people in Ealing, has won the award for Community Organization of the Year.

As a member of the G15 network of housing associations, A2Dominion nominated AM Partnership Group, which helped the group secure funding from the BBC 1xtra We Move Fund last year to launch a number of projects and will undertake more this year .

The new projects to come will address the challenges faced by young women of color between the ages of 12 and 18 by providing guidance, support and mentorship.

Alex King, Director of AM Partnership Group, said: “On behalf of AM Partnership Group, we are honored to receive this award. As a small organization, this recognition means a lot to us.”

Ms King added: “It not only validates our hard work but also propels our growth, enabling us to have an even greater impact on the communities we serve. We are truly grateful to A2Dominion for nominating us and for their partnership in helping those in need.”
