Tourists steal Mercedes while on holiday in Cornwall

A group of tourists had their car stolen while on holiday in Cornwall. Their vehicle, a Mercedes, was caught while tourists were visiting Newquay this weekend.

The Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Unit posted on social media yesterday (Sunday May 12) that the car had been taken from the group. With the help of CCTV, the car was found parked and still in town.




Officers returned him to his owners after spotting him on Newquay CCTV.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Devon and Cornwall Police – No Excuse wrote: “#Mercedes stolen from some tourists earlier today – working with Newquay CCTV located it parked – owners very pleased!”
