Former JLL CEO Sanjay Dutt will lead Cushman & Wakefield India

Bangalore: Sanjay Dutt, who recently stepped down as executive director (business) of international property consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle India, is joining Cushman and Wakefield as executive managing director, South Asia.

Dutt replaces Anuraj Mathur, who has been with Cushman and Wakefield for more than 13 years.

“Cushman and Wakefield has a complete platform where all services are provided to a client and my job would be to create the right value for them,” said Dutt, who previously worked with the company from 2001 to 2008 before stepping down from joint management function. director to join JLL.

Dutt left Jones Lang LaSalle a few months ago to launch his own real estate fund in equal partnership with Nipun Sahni, former managing director and India head, global commercial real estate, DSP Merrill Lynch.

After joining Cushman and Wakefield, Dutt will hold a minority stake in the fund, RE Zone Investment Advisors, but will continue to sit on its board.
