Watch the Euro 2024 final on the big screen

To celebrate England’s historic journey to the Euro 2024 finals, the council is helping to bring football home – on an outdoor screen in Walpole Park.

Millions watched England take on Holland in a semi-final match on Wednesday (July 10th), with the Three Lions claiming a 2-1 victory over their Dutch rivals in a thrilling match that had the crowd on edge. of- their places.

Ealing Council is giving residents the chance to swap their sofa or pub bench for the park as we host a family-friendly outdoor screening of the UEFA Euro 2024 final at Ealing Summer Festivals in Walpole Park.

A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for the final against Spain at 8pm on Sunday 14 July. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; ticket holders are guaranteed entry until 7:15 p.m. After this time, remaining tickets will be released to anyone waiting without a ticket.

Councilor Blerina Hashani, the council’s cabinet member for thriving communities, said: “Almost 6 decades since their last major international cup win, England’s men have reached the final of Euro 2024. This stunning achievement is a fantastic chance to bring the community together to celebrate. as one – and what better way to do that than by hosting the final on a big screen?

“There is plenty of time for everyone to soak up the semi-final excitement, book their tickets before doing it all over again on Sunday. Get your tickets quickly and be a part of this historic final – we expect them to go faster than a cold beer on a sunny evening.”

The details you need to know

Tickets are limited to 4 per booking. People under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, carer or guardian. Maximum 2 under 18 per responsible adult.

Unless you have a specific dietary requirement, do not take food or drink. There will be bars and food on site.

If you take a flag, it must not have a staff/pole and must be kept below head height so that it does not obstruct others from enjoying the action. Capes are welcome. No flares, horns or chairs (except wheelchairs) are allowed. If you have limited mobility, a separate seating area will be available. You should speak to staff when you arrive if you need a seat – as you will not be allowed your own seat. Wheelchair or pushchair users should note that this event takes place on flat but slightly uneven grass.
