Tyson Fury’s father was injured in a pre-fight brawl ahead of his fight with Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury’s father John was left bloodied in a brawl that took place days before his son’s clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

Heavyweight champions Fury and Usyk fight for all four belts this Saturday in Saudi Arabia. The fight was due to take place in February but was pushed back three months after Fury was forced to withdraw after being stopped in the fight, the Mirror reports.

Just a day after Usyk landed in the Kingdom, John Fury appears to have had an altercation with a member of his team.

A video captured what appears to be a member of Usyk’s team coming face-to-face with John. It is suggested that John head-butted one of Usyk’s crew, causing blood to run down his forehead.

John told Usyk’s team, “We’re not going anywhere, we’re not going anywhere!” Fury’s brother Shane was also furious as he said: ‘Isn’t that stupid? ****.”

Fury is set to earn more than nearly £100m for the Usyk fight, which takes place on Saturday, May 18.
