Everything we know about Kyle Clifford after three crossbow murders

The suspected crossbow killer was found in Enfield on Wednesday and remains in hospital after police reported he was injured when they arrived at the scene.

Kyle Clifford remains in hospital after police found him injured following a dramatic manhunt following the triple murders of three women.

BBC star John Hunt’s wife and two daughters were found dead on Tuesday night. Police said Clifford was known to Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25.




Clifford, 26, was discovered injured in a cemetery in Enfield on Wednesday night and taken by ambulance to a trauma center for treatment. Hertfordshire Police said officers who found him at Lavender Hill Cemetery did not fire any shots.

While Clifford is still being treated, police have not yet confirmed his condition or whether they have made any arrests in the case. Other details have emerged since he was identified as a suspect, including his connection to the Hunt family and his background in the British Army.

Kyle Clifford ‘seemed normal’ while growing up

Clifford is confirmed to have grown up in Enfield, with a woman who grew up with the alleged killer in the area saying he “always seemed quite normal”. Speaking to Sky News, the woman added that he also seemed like a “nice guy” and that he didn’t seem aggressive.

She said: “We would always be at the same parties together and had a blast in Enfield. He never seemed strange or aggressive.” Clifford is believed to have previously worked as a private security guard and briefly served in the British Army before leaving the service in 2022.

Clifford is believed to have previously worked as a private security guard. Before that he was in the Army where he was a private and served in the Queen’s Dragoon Guards.
