Another massive slip and slide opened in Cornwall at 145m long

Yet another slip and slide has opened in Cornwall and it’s even longer than the last one – which claimed to be the longest in Britain. Kernow Slide opened just outside Bodmin just in time for summer on July 6 and boasts an impressive 145m four-lane slide.

What’s more, for those thrill-seekers among us, the launch pad is three and a half meters high. The attraction operates in one-hour intervals, starting on the hour, and tickets cost £13, while children aged four and under go free.

If you have energy for another hour, you can add another hour for half price at £6.50. Booking is recommended but not essential.

Kernow Slide also has a selection of inflatable single rings, double rings and bodyboards for use which must be returned after. The website states that while there are restrooms on site, it has no changing rooms, so visitors are advised to arrive ready to use the slide.

The attraction was the second slip and slide to open in Cornwall at the weekend. It joined the slide at The Cornish Maize Maze in Saltash, which at the time claimed to have the longest and fastest slip and slide in the UK at 140 metres.
