Boots buyers love lotion that gives the face a “natural glow”

Boots shoppers love a product that provides a natural glow under makeup or even on its own.

L’Oréal Paris Lumi Glotion will cost shoppers £11.99 or £8.99 with an Advantage Card and is available in four different shades. The product is designed to give the face a great glow and can be used under foundation, to highlight, contour and sculpt the face or if you’re looking for a minimal makeup look it can be used for all three.

On the Boots website, the product listing says: ‘L’Oréal Paris Lumi Glotion hydrates and brightens skin for a total, fresh, natural glow. The highlighting formula provides a hint of illuminating color to enhance the skin’s natural glow for a healthier, brighter complexion. The Lumi Glowing Lotion formula is infused with glycerin and shea butter for up to 24 hours of hydration.”

And unsurprisingly, with over 450 reviews and an overall 4.7 star rating, buyers seem to love this product not only for its shine, but also for the flawless finish it provides. One customer who loved the product said, “This texture is amazing to blend with foundation whether it’s too light or just on its own.”

Although many loved the product, there were a few buyers who gave it a lower star rating, not 100% satisfied with what they bought. One said: “Very poor quality. Very bad quality. Very poor quality.”

And a second wrote: “I’ve tried this both on its own and under makeup and to be honest I haven’t noticed a difference. My skin tone looked the same and I didn’t notice any color difference. I was very disappointed. It also makes me break out in places after using it so I don’t use it anymore.”
