Hull City target ‘possibility’ for Sheffield United, Blades still in mix

The Welshman has entered the final year of his contract and is not part of Bournemouth’s future plans.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Ipswich Town and was instrumental in their promotion with seven goals in the Championship.

Hull and Sheffield United are interested in landing a player who is a proven goalscorer in the second tier of English football.

It looked like Moore was set to join the Tigers on a permanent deal, but Sheffield United remain in the running.

The Blades are now a “possibility” for Moore, although there is still work to be done on the deal.

Uncertainty over Sheffield United’s takeover has hampered deals since the start of the summer transfer window.

Even so, the Blades have recently managed to snap up midfielder Jamie Shackleton following the expiry of his contract at Leeds United.

Landing Moore would be a coup and a statement of intent from Sheffield United.
