Horrifying TV shows teenager fleeing armed mob as Birmingham men jailed

Chilling CCTV shows the moment an armed mob, which included youths from Birmingham, attacked and stabbed a defenseless teenager. Three Birmingham men were part of a frenzied mob who launched a “brutal” attack that left a teenager with serious stab wounds and put their lives at risk.

CCTV from a nearby business shows some of the men pulling out guns and chasing the victim into Coventry city center in front of more than a dozen witnesses. The crowd disperses when they realize guns are drawn and the group of men surround the victim, who is stabbed multiple times after being chased.




As we reported, three of the armed mob were from Birmingham, with one, Pious Adabie, helping to launch the attack. All eight men were jailed on July 11 at Warwick Crown Court for a combined total of more than 75 years after the attack.

The victim tried to run but was only able to run a short distance before being attacked again, with several members of the group participating. The 19-year-old victim, who had been at a music event, was later found in Upper Precinct, a busy shopping area in Coventry, with serious injuries.

Police said it was thanks to the quick actions of members of the public and emergency services that his life was saved. Coventry Police say one of their biggest investigations has pieced together the sequence of events to identify everyone involved, although the reasons for what happened still remain unclear.

Eight men – all aged between 19 and 21 – were jailed at Warwick Crown Court for a combined total of more than 75 years after the attack on October 6 last year. An investigation led to an extensive review of CCTV and phone footage and led to the arrest of all eight men within weeks of the attack at locations in the West Midlands, London and Brighton.
