Jet2 announces date changes for UK tourists planning holidays to Spain, Greece and Turkey

Jet2 has announced a change to its summer flight schedule, which affects holidaymakers planning to fly in early and late summer. The airline has expanded its flight schedule to eight destinations in Spain, Turkey, Greece and Croatia for 2025.

The new additions focus on the early and late summer season, due to “increased demand” from tourists and travel agents looking to fly out of peak season. More than 35,000 additional seats have gone on sale in Malaga, Costa de Almeria, Mallorca, Dalaman, Lesvos, Skiathos, Split and Dubrovnik.

Customers flying from nine UK airports including Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Newcastle International and London Stansted will benefit from the extension. The carrier has anticipated the start of its summer 2025 schedule, which means more options for vacationers looking for early summer sun.

Three new weekly services from Liverpool to Malaga and Mallorca will now be launched in March, while flights to the Costa de Almeria from Birmingham and Manchester will start from April 12, in time for Easter. Dalaman flights from all nine UK bases will be launched earlier from 14 March, while the summer season to Lesvos and Skiathos will be extended later to 12 October.

Services to Split from Birmingham and Manchester Airport will start from 17 April and flights to Dubrovnik from both locations will be extended until 8 November.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “As well as booking a place in the sunshine for the summer of 24, we are seeing a lot of demand from customers looking even further to 2025. As always, we have responded to this application, adding more flights and holidays so that customers and independent travel agents have a fantastic choice when it comes to booking their favourites.

“Today’s announcement extends the summer season to a number of incredible destinations in Spain, Turkey, Greece and Croatia, and we know this will be very popular.”

He added: “This is more positive news for our new Liverpool John Lennon operation as well. We continue to enjoy a fantastic response to our launch and this expansion is even more good news for customers and independent travel agents in Liverpool, Merseyside and the wider region.”
