Leading two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield (RE) is gearing up to increase its fleet and is readying new models under the 250cc platform. The first shipment, codenamed V, has been reported to hit the market by 2026 or 2027.

The company is yet to reveal any official details about the same. However, some reports have suggested that they might drop some hints soon.

If rumors are to be believed, RE has been working on the upcoming offer for a very long time. Now, it has reached a point where it has received the green signal for the same from the management.

If all goes according to their plan, these bikes will be positioned a step below the 350cc series. It will be more affordable and allow riders to have impressive power with a decent ride quality on more terrain.

Expected engine and power

In terms of detailed specifications and feature details, the upcoming 250cc range could use the air-cooled engine and is expected to generate between 25 and 30 bhp of peak power. Again! these are just speculations, concrete details have not yet been shared by the brand.

Some reports have also suggested that the manufacturer is also exploring hybrid powertrains.
