More body parts found in Clifton Suspension Bridge horror suitcase probe

Human remains discovered in a west London flat were linked to body parts found in two suitcases in Bristol. Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the deaths of two men.

The 34-year-old was detained by Avon and Somerset armed officers at Temple Meads station in Bristol in the early hours of Saturday. A crime scene has been active on Scott’s Road, Shepherd’s Bush, since Friday afternoon.

The Met Police issued a statement saying: “Officers believe the remains are linked to human remains found in Bristol and there are two further male victims.”

Police are continuing to search the London flat. Mr Valentine said this morning’s arrest was “significant”. He added: “I would like to thank the public for their support. We understand the concerns of the local communities in both Bristol and London and officers will remain in the Clifton and Shepherd’s Bush areas over the coming days to reassure those affected by this tragic incident. . Anyone with problems is encouraged to talk to them.”
