what’s the story

Royal Enfield is all set to introduce the Classic 350 Bobber, a scaled-down version of the original model, in the Indian market.

The motorcycle was seen undergoing road tests in the country.

The spy photos suggest that the redesigned model will have a sleek fuel tank, fork caps and curved fenders at both ends.

Notable features include a monkey-hanger handlebar and a one-piece rider seat in standard trim.

The Classic 350 Bobber promotes a relaxed riding experience.

As seen on the test bike, it will include a removable seat, which creates an interesting floating effect.

The driving position appears to be designed for comfort, with easy access to the handlebars and front footpegs.

Suspension loads on the bike will be handled by telescopic forks and dual rear shocks.

It will ride on wire-spoke wheels with tube-type tires. Both front and rear wheels will have disc brakes.

Classic 350 Bobber to keep the engine of the original model

The bike’s chassis, engine and other components are expected to mirror those of the Classic 350. Specifically, it will house a 349cc air-cooled engine that churns out 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine will be mated to a five-speed gearbox.
