The Los Angeles Dodgers have claimed former shortstop Brent Honeywell Jr. off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

Now 29, Honeywell has a 2.70 ERA in two major league outings with the Pirates this season. He had a 4.85 ERA in 26 appearances over 39.0 innings at Triple-A in 2024 before making his Pittsburgh debut last Monday against the New York Mets at PNC Park.
