Tesco Express stores will close early for England’s Euro 2024 final

Tesco Express stores in Coventry and Warwickshire will close early for England’s Euro 2024 final. The national name has confirmed that the shutters will come down early at Express stores on Sunday (July 14).

It has confirmed that more than 1,800 of its Express stores will not remain open until the usual hours of 10pm and 11pm, reports Retail Gazette online. Instead, they will close at 19.30,

This is just before the crucial Trei Lei match, which will start at 20:00. It means his employees will be able to watch the match.

Larger supermarket stores will already be closed before the start. The decision follows England’s win against the Netherlands last night.

Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins’ last minute strike sent the Three Lions into the final, sparking celebrations across the country. Now the nation is gearing up for the huge game this Sunday.

There will be ‘fan zones’ set up in pubs across Coventry as well as Warwickshire as people gather to watch the big game.
