Juventus have set their sights on Dortmund’s Adeyemi as Soule closes in on a move to Leicester

Although Thiago Motta has already acquired some important reinforcements this summer, including goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio and midfielders Douglas Luiz and Khephren Thuram, the new coach would also like to breathe fresh air into the Bianconeri’s attacking department.

The former Bologna tactician will use either a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 system once the 2024-25 Serie A season begins.

Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz are still expected to be important starters in the first team for the most part, but there could be a place available on the flanks if Soule leaves and especially if Federico Chiesa heads for the exit door this summer.

For this reason, Juventus are eyeing more wingers and attackers as they would ideally bring in similar replacements for both Soule and Chiesa if both leave during this transfer window.

Adeyemi is expected to cost at least €30m to €40m, most of which could be covered by the €30m fee Juventus hope to bring in for Soule.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have also mentioned a number of alternatives for Adeyemi, including Porto’s Francisco Conceicao, while Juventus are also continuing to explore a possible loan deal for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
