Sheffield is home to Europe’s largest food hall, as the opening date has been confirmed

Europe’s largest food hall is set to open its doors in Sheffield later this month. Cambridge Street Collective will open on Thursday 23 May and will be home to 20 food and drink vendors, a bar and a rooftop terrace.

Blend Family, the operator behind the exciting new opening, said the business is “Europe’s largest purpose-built food hall”. Located on Cambridge Street in Sheffield city centre, the new build site is approximately 20,000 sq ft and has been designed to create a ‘primary social and community destination’, set at the heart of the Heart of the City’s iconic development.

The venue itself includes a BBQ and sushi dining space, four vibrant bars including one with a Japanese focus, AR Darts, children’s play area, outdoor seating, rooftop terraces and a central stage bar.

Alongside these, Blend also plans weekly children and family events, live music and independent monthly markets, while the venue will also play host to social enterprise, the Blend Culinary Foundation Community Kitchen.
