Northolt High School to be renamed Islip Manor High School from September 2025 – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

Parents and pupils attending Northolt High School have been told that from 1 September 2025, its name will change to Islip Manor High School following an ‘engagement process’ with school stakeholders.

The name change comes as a new school building is constructed on its site on Eastcote Lane in Northolt.

In a letter to parents, principal Marion Budd said: “After careful consideration and input from our school and the wider community, we are pleased to announce that we will officially rename our school as Islip Manor High School as of September 1, 2025 .

“With the construction of our new school building, the enhancement of the curriculum and the development of our enrichment program and partnerships, the governing body and senior management team believe that this is the perfect time to relaunch our vision, name and brand.”

The name change has also seen locals take to social media to voice their concerns.

One person on Facebook said: “It is not on the Islip Manor estate. Call it the High Racecourse if anything,” while another added: “Why would they do that. Certainly Northolt High in the middle of Northolt makes sense’.

Headteacher Marion Budd’s letter to parents added: “We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the voting engagement process. Your involvement has been invaluable and highlights the strength and unity of our school community.”
