A new bakery and sweet shop opens in Sea Mills

A new bakery and sweet shop has opened today (Monday 15 July) in Bristol’s Sea Mills Market. Nightingale’s boasts an “extensive pick & mix of over 60 different confections and American chocolates, beverages and more,” according to owner Anthony Nightingale.

Meanwhile, its bakery will offer fresh bread, sandwiches and a wide selection of hot pastries, in addition to cooked paninis, nine- and 12-inch pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, boxes, baguettes and salads. There are even jacket potatoes and fresh cakes on the menu.

Mr Nightingale, who shared the news on social media this week, added: “We’ll have some of the best barista coffee you’ll ever taste, along with Mr Whippy ice creams and slushy drinks, with a loyalty card to get a free drink.

“We have a seating arrangement outside, depending on the weather, to come and sit down and enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat.”

Nightingale’s will be open daily from 7.30am to 5pm. Mr Nightingale went on to say: “We look forward to seeing everyone who visits us in this new business and hopefully their ongoing custom.”

Nightingale’s is next to Collistear Beauty on the corner of Shirehampton Road and St Edyth’s Road.
