Armley: Annual Community and Arts Festival

The annual Armley Community and Arts Festival is back! The event will take place on Saturday 14th September 2024 on Armley Moor between 12pm and 6pm.

Organizers are inviting local children and young people to get in touch to suggest a theme for this year’s festival.

“The Armley Festival is by the community, for the community – so the only way it’s going to happen is if local people and groups get involved.”

Individuals, companies and groups – can join the festival action team and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. Or you can help in other ways.

We will be looking for lots of volunteers on the day itself to help organize and run the event – ​​so please step forward if you are over 14 and can get involved for a few hours on Saturday 14th September. We need you!”

Local artists, makers and independent businesses are encouraged to support the Festival Square by booking a craft or food stall.

Organizers say it’s a great opportunity to highlight the creative talent to be found in Armley and attract new customers. Market stalls start from £10 and are available on a first come, first served basis. Email [email protected] for booking form.

The event is part-funded by Leeds City Council’s Inner West Community Committee and the event is supported by the Armley Common Right Trust, who maintain the Moor for the communities of Armley to enjoy.
