Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched in India, price starts from Rs 2.39 lakh

Leading two-wheeler segment player Royal Enfield has finally launched its much awaited Guerrilla 450 in India. The motorcycle has been launched at a starting price of Rs Rs 2.39 lakh, ex-showroom.

The latest offering is the perfect combination of both Himayalan and Hunter, offering a street bike feel in the sub-500cc segment. It is the second model in the RE range to be built using the Sherpa platform.

Color options and variants

The model is available in interesting colors – Brava Blue and Yellow Ribbon options. It can be purchased in three variants – Flash, Dash and Analog. Interested customers can now be received from the authorized representative of the company.

Design elements

Talking about the design, the latest Guerrilla comes with the same headlamp setup as the Himalayan, displaying a round-shaped unit paired with split indicators at either end. The rear did not receive any kind of tail light. However, it offers spotlights and makes the same style statement as the Himalayan.

The company has used an 11-liter teardrop-shaped fuel tank, which makes it look more aggressive in its segment.

The comfort of the seats

For comfort, the Guerrilla offers a decent seat height of 780mm, with grab handles for the passenger. This chair does not come with a seat adjustment feature like the Himalayan.

Engine and power

Essentially, again, the Guerrilla 450 borrowed the engine from the Himalayan. It uses the same 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 39.47 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

On the suspension setup, the Guerrilla received a 43mm telescopic fork with troughs up front, while the rear was treated to 140mm and a link-type monoshock.

The bike rides on stylish alloy wheels, and the tubeless tires are specially designed by Ceat for multi-terrain use.
