Antler has shaved 50 pounds off its airline-approved “roomy” cabin bag, which buyers say lasts 10 years of travel

Much-loved luggage brand Antler has launched its summer sale, and with the holiday season in full swing, it’s the perfect opportunity to pick up a premium suitcase that will stand the test of time for less. Travelers and backpackers have given the Stamford 2.0 cabin bag their seal of approval, saying one of its biggest selling points is that it “will fit virtually all airline cabin restrictions.”

Giving you peace of mind before traveling to the airport, the Stamford cabin measures 54.1 x 40.2 x 20cm, suitable for Jet2, British Airways and TUI flyers, as well as Ryanair Priority and EasyJet Speedy Boarding customers. With Black, Navy, Green and Red color options reduced to £150 from £200, frequent travelers are keen to snap up their ‘game-changing’ carry-on bags while they can.

The stylish cabin bag is one of the brand’s best sellers, with ample interior space and an attractive exterior, as well as premium Japanese wheels for smooth handling. Built-in functionality keeps those wheels well-oiled for longer, extending the life of your luggage. Buyers can vouch for this as some have had Antler luggage for more than ten years without needing to replace it.

Despite its compact size, it still has plenty of space inside, with a packing capacity of 37 litres, meaning you’ll be able to fit everything you need on a short trip. Weighing just 2.77kg, it will hardly add to weight restrictions and will be easy to lift into overhead lockers. Better yet, a removable pack divider with a pocket helps prevent wrinkling and keep clothes flat. It also has a TSA-approved combination lock that keeps your belongings safe.

Customers who have already invested in the Stamford cabin bag have left five-star reviews on the Antler website. One person said: “Used it for two trips so far – super impressed. Lightweight, robust, smart and practical. I will not buy any other luggage brand in the future.” Another added that it “has multiple height levels so it’s comfortable to roll even for taller people.”

A third wrote: “Awesome case. I used it last week on a trip to Italy and it was perfect. Last time there my old casing wasn’t strong and we got caught in heavy rain walking to adjust. Case contents wet on arrival. It’s not a good start to a vacation and I was pleased that the new case kept everything dry.”

However, it has not been given five stars by every customer. One person knocked off one star, noting that “the exterior marks quite easily,” so you may want to go for a darker color variant if that’s an issue. If you’re traveling with the whole family, you can take the full Stamford Suitcase Set (three in total), saving more than £150 in summer sales. Bargain hunters can also save on Antler’s popular Clifton Cabin Bag, reduced from £170 to £119. Clifton comes in seven colors – sycamore, taupe, black, mineral, sage, blush and slate.

The Marks and Spencer Amalfi 4 Wheel Cabin Suitcase is a popular choice for £59 thanks to its stylish exterior and practical compartments. It measures 55 x 35 x 21.5 and according to buyers is “very roomy”. Away is a premium luggage brand alternative to Antler. They recently launched the Soft-Side Carry-On for £180 and measures 55.5cm x 38cm x 23cm so it fits in most mainline airline lockers, it’s already sold out in some colours.
