A 42-hour Met Office warning has been issued for Coventry as temperatures soar

The Met Office has issued a 42-hour heat health warning for Coventry and Warwickshire. It comes into effect at 5pm and will last until Saturday evening, July 20.

The yellow heat health alert, which ends at 11pm on Saturday 20 July, has warned that rising temperatures could impact people’s health. He said it could impact the over-65s, those with health conditions and young children.

As a result, it may lead to greater demand for health care services and could lead to heatstroke effects in workplaces. It comes as temperatures across the UK, including our area, are set to rise.
