Housebuilder set to bring 247 new homes to Wiltshire

A local builder has been given the green light for an exciting new development in Wiltshire.

Work is set to begin on the 42.7 acre Elm Grove development in Redrow South West, with planning now officially approved.

Elm Grove will deliver 247 new private and affordable homes, including one, two, three and four bedroom properties.

The homes will be available from the housebuilder’s award-winning Heritage Collection, which has proved popular with homebuyers looking for traditional 1930s charm combined with a contemporary, high-spec interior.

With the plans now approved, construction is set to begin in early 2025, with the proposed homes to go on sale next summer.

More than £1.8m of investment will also be made to the local community as part of the planning agreement, with funds supporting improvements to public transport links, healthcare and education.

Elm Grove will also have plenty of green, open spaces and bus stops.

Sian Smith, Sales Director for Redrow South West, said: “We are delighted to have received planning permission for our new Elm Grove development and are delighted to be expanding our existing community in Trowbridge.

“With excellent transport links, green open spaces and significant investment in the local community, Elm Grove is set to become a thriving and vibrant neighbourhood. We look forward to starting construction early next year and welcoming residents to this development soon.”

Situated in the charming village of Trowbridge, Elm Grove will offer excellent transport links with regular trains to both Bristol and Bath. With a wide range of home types in the development, there will be something for all lifestyles.
